Your first stop is Ifrane, often known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” From there, continue to Cedar forest, where you can explore the beautiful forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains and, if conditions allow, spot the famous Barbary macaques.

Continue your journey through the mountains toward Midelt, known as the capital of apples. Take a break here for lunch before heading farther south, as the scenery gradually transforms on your way toward the Sahara.

From Midelt, cross the High Atlas Mountains and reach the spectacular Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most striking natural landscapes. Make a stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the vast palm-filled valley before continuing toward Erfoud, known as Morocco’s fossil capital and famous for its rich fossil deposits and fossil craftsmanship.
