Enjoy a camel ride, sandboarding, and sunset in the dunes, followed by dinner, music, and a night at the desert camp. The next morning, enjoy the Sahara sunrise and breakfast before beginning the journey back to Marrakech through the beautiful landscapes of southern Morocco.

Day 01 :

Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Sahara Desert

The first day of your 2 days students trip to Morocco

Start your 2 Days Students Trip to Morocco with an early pickup from your accommodation/Airport in Marrakech and begin the journey through the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Enjoy panoramic views of traditional Berber villages along the way.

Pass by Ait Ben Haddou and stop at a panoramic viewpoint for photos of the famous UNESCO-listed kasbah, which has appeared in movies and series such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones, The Mummy, and Kingdom of Heaven.

Continue through Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” then pass through Skoura, famous for its palm groves and traditional kasbahs. Continue toward the Sahara with a stop at a Moroccan and Berber clothing cooperative, where your group can try traditional outfits, take fun group photos, and enjoy a complimentary henna experience.

Continue toward Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes. Upon arrival, meet your camel guide and begin your camel ride through the golden dunes, enjoying the spectacular Sahara sunset and trying some sandboarding along the way. After sunset, arrive at your desert camp and check in to your tent, before having a Moroccan dinner, then enjoy traditional music with locals playing drums, dancing around the campfire, and do not forget to have a look at the sky filled with stars.

Sahara Desert - Agdz - Anti Atlas Mountains - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

The second day of your 2 days students abroad trip to Morocco

Wake up early to watch the Sahara sunrise over the dunes before breakfast at the camp. Then begin your journey back to Marrakech, leaving the desert behind and traveling through the changing landscapes of southern Morocco.

Travel through Rissani and Alnif before continuing toward the Draa Valley, where you can stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the impressive palm groves and desert landscapes. Continue through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and toward Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains once again.

Arrive in Marrakech in the evening, where your 2 Days Morocco Students Tour comes to an end after an unforgettable experience combining Moroccan culture, mountain landscapes, Ait Ben Haddou, camel riding, sandboarding, desert camping, music, and the magic of the Sahara.
